9/ Eschatology
We believe in the blessed hope of Christ's second coming, the resurrection, and the final judgment. We eagerly await the eternal joy of the redeemed in God's presence. We embrace repentance, seeking God's mercy and trusting in His perfect justice for the final judgment.
11/ Discipleship and Transformation
We believe in the ongoing process of discipleship and spiritual transformation. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, believers are called to grow in Christlikeness, continually renewing their minds and conforming to the image of Christ.
10/ Priesthood of all believers
We affirm the priesthood of all believers, emphasizing the individual's direct access to God through Jesus Christ. All believers have the privilege and responsibility to serve and minister in accordance with their spiritual gifts and calling.
12/ The Great Commission
We embrace the mandate of the Great Commission as given by Jesus Christ to His disciples. We are called to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples of all nations, and teach them to observe all that Christ commanded.
Doctrinal Statement
We, as a Reformed church, affirm the following foundational beliefs:
1/ God
We believe the One who eternally exists in three persons- the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is one in divine essence and three in personhood. The three persons share equally in power, glory and perfection.
3/ Salvation
We believe in salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation is a gift from God, not earned by human effort, but solely by God's grace and mercy.
2/ Scripture
We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures, the Old and New Testaments, as the infallible Word of God. They are the ultimate and sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
4/ Sovereignty of God
We affirm the sovereignty of God in all things. He governs and ordains all events according to His perfect will, working all things for the good of those who love Him.
5/ Total Depravity
We believe in the fallen nature of humanity due to the effects of original sin. All humans are spiritually dead and incapable of saving themselves. Salvation is solely the work of God's grace.
7/ Holy Spirit
We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. The Spirit convicts, regenerates, and sanctifies us, enabling us to live a life pleasing to God.
6/ Atonement
We affirm the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross. Through His sacrifice, Christ paid the penalty for our sins and reconciled us to God.
8/ Church
We affirm the importance of the church as the body of Christ, consisting of believers gathered together for worship, teaching, fellowship, and the proclamation of the Gospel. We uphold the administration of the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper.
